Butterfly Rainforest

Home to over 1,000 butterflies, the Butterfly Rainforest is located in north-central Florida in Gainesville.

Located at the Florida Museum of Natural History, the site is set on campus at the University of Florida.

The Butterfly Rainforest exhibit is a 6,400-square-foot, screened-in room featuring up to 80 free-flying butterfly and moth species.

Open year round, visitors are encouraged to see the butterfly releases and feeding stations in this simulating tropical environment.
